About Tanging Yaman:

Tanging Yaman is a story about faith, love and music within a family. The award-winning drama film directed by Laurice Guillen, dwells on several familial issues. It stars Gloria Romero, Johnny Delgado, Cherry Pie Picache, Joel Torre, Hilda Koronel and other big stars in Philippine Cinema.

Separated by distance both physically and emotionally, siblings Danny (Johnny Delgado), Art (Edu Manzano) and Grace (Dina Bonnevie) go back to their hometown to settle a land dispute while their mother Dolores "Loleng" Rosales (Gloria Romero)suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Familial issues began to resurface as long-standing resentments and pains unravel when the idea of selling a big portion of the land, left behind by their deceased father, was brought up. This issue threatens to spill over to the next generation and a mother's love and self-offering may be the only way to heal the wounds of the past and unite her children once again or break them farther apart.
